Shauna's Life In Pain Honored With The Premio Dardos Award!!

Shauna Roberts of Shauna Roberts' For Love of Words, recently awarded this blog, 'Shauna's Life In Pain And Other Fun Things', with a Prémio Dardos Award, which apparently is Italian for "Prize Darts." Thank you, Shauna, for considering my blog worthy of notice. (And you have a really cool name!)

Here’s the purpose of the award:

The Prémio Dardos is given for recognition of cultural, ethical, literary, and personal values transmitted in the form of creative and original writing. These stamps were created with the intention of promoting fraternization between bloggers, a way of showing affection and gratitude for work that adds value to the Web.

These are the rules:

  1. Accept the award by posting on your blog along with the name of the person that has granted the award and a link to his/her blog.
  2. Pass the award to another 10 blogs that are worthy of this acknowledgment, remembering to contact each of them to let them know they've been selected for this award.
This was a tough task, to narrow down my list to the following people, with so many great blogs around that I just adore. (I think I went over 10 but oh well...) Here are the ones I am passing the Prémio Dardos on to, in no particular order:

McKay of Living With A Chronic Illness

Jeanne of Jeanne's Endo Blog

Gary of Travel RN Gab

Sherlock of Sherlock's Stuff

Shelia of Shelia's Chiari Journey

Caf of Rellacafa

Connie of My Chronic Life

Maureen of Being Chronically Ill Is A Pill

Anne of Disabled Not Dead

Christine of But You Don't Look Sick

Jasmine of Life With My Pet Back

Carleen of Life, Liberty, and Good Coffee

Rosalind of Chronic Illness Coach

Sherril of The ICI Experience

I want to thank all these wonderful bloggers on their work, whether it be from their hearts on a story told of life lived every day; or informational reading for those that live also with what they do. Either view these are written from, they all contribute to the world....for a little more help for those of us, or those that care for us; in the world if illness, hidden illnesses, and pain.

Thanks to all of you, and Congratulations!!!

Shauna

  3. Hi Shauna,

Thanks so much! I am very honoured that you have chosen me =D

I shall repost and pass this on in the very near future!

How is your pain? Things have been rough around my neck of the woods, but hanging in there and waiting for that change that just, simply, HAS to come. I hope you are doing well!

  5. Hi there my Shauna!!
Can you beleive how long it took me to get this award up?? Well better late then never! Thank you again for considering my blog a well-written one, coming from you, (a published author), you know how much it means to me. DaYum you have a cool name...or did someone already say that?? Girl, we are getting mixed up since that post in many ways...get the email that came to me meant for YOU??? LOL

    Carleen,
You are most welcome, you deserve it and work hard on your blog, as everyone that I chose does...and with an illness such as yours, I know very well how tough it is to keep up...but, KEEP IT UP!! ;-) Gentle Hugs girlfriend!!

    Caf,
Honey it sounds like you are having a tough time...I understand the "waiting for the CHANGE"...oh so well. I hope that you start to feel more up to par girl, and as I asked Shauna Roberts who gave me this award, you, (and this goes to all) doesn't NEED to pick 10 blogs, if that is too overwhelming hun. I was asked to pick 15 and was like HUH?? But then ended up picking 10, and then...ended up going over and almost had 15 anyway!! LOL Gentle Hugs honey!

McK, my KS...I am so glad to hear your award warmed your heart...you deserve award after award...I am happy to do anything that makes YOU happy!! Gentle Hugs sweetie!

  9. Dear Connie!!!

You are SO welcome!! You deserve any award, as your blog is written from such an intelligent mind that has that innate ability to pass those thoughts to others. 8-D

Shauna Roberts, the blogger that gave me this, her blog is just unreal. She is a published writer, and talented is not enough to describe her talents. Since it is mainly a writing award, (LOVE the title, 'Fiery Darts', so beautiful to describe words and how they are written.) I was 1 of 15 and was listed with one another person under, "Non writing Blogs". So that's what I kept in mind when I chose the recipients...how do the convey themselves. Guess I've been too quiet on your blog as I've read, and will start being a 'commenter"!! I always love to know others WERE here, and just say a simple 'hi' to each other!

Anyway, to another sister in pain, Gentle Hugs...only kind I give, I can't be a heavy squeezer, and others that I know also can twinge when they see a hug coming. lol (only 'we' get that!)

I am so happy and feel honored to add you to my roll too hun. Thank You.
